Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

Lumum Cleaning Service Co DBA Luxe Legacy Cleaning ("Luxe Legacy Cleaning," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Who we are

Luxe Legacy Cleaning is a residential and commercial cleaning company based in Chicago, Illinois, serving Chicago and surrounding suburbs. This policy applies to our website, our online quote and booking tools, and the services we provide to you.

You can reach us anytime at nick@luxelegacycleaningco.com, by phone at (773) 416-9438, or by mail at 4315 N Central Ave, Chicago, IL 60634.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to give you an accurate quote, schedule your cleaning, take payment, and stay in touch:

  • Contact details — your name, phone number, and email address.
  • Service and property details — the service address and ZIP code, home or property size, number of rooms, add-ons, pets, and access instructions you choose to share.
  • Scheduling information — the dates and time windows you request for your cleaning.
  • Payment information — when you pay online, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes your card details. We do not receive or store full card numbers on our own systems; we retain only limited records such as a receipt, the last four digits, and payment status.
  • Communications — messages, requests, and feedback you send us by form, email, text, call, or WhatsApp, and your marketing preferences.
  • Automatically collected data — basic device and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links, gathered through cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or health data through this website. Please don't send it to us.

3. How we use your information

We use your information for our own internal business purposes, including to:

  • Prepare your quote, schedule and deliver your cleaning, and manage your account and bookings.
  • Process payments, deposits, refunds, and recurring (subscription) charges.
  • Communicate with you about appointments, confirmations, changes, and customer support.
  • Send you marketing — such as seasonal offers, cleaning tips, and news — where you have signed up or otherwise agreed to receive it. You can opt out at any time.
  • Improve our services, website, and quoting, keep our systems secure, prevent fraud, and comply with our legal and tax obligations.

4. We do not sell or rent your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We also do not transfer or disclose your personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing.

Your information is used for our own internal purposes — running and marketing our cleaning business. The only parties who ever receive your information are the trusted service providers we rely on to operate (described in the next section), and only to the limited extent needed to serve you. These providers may not use your information for their own purposes.

5. Service providers who help us operate

To run our business we share limited information with a small set of vetted providers who act on our behalf and are bound to protect it. Sharing data with a processor to deliver your service is not a sale. These include:

  • Payment processingStripe securely handles card payments and subscriptions. Stripe processes your payment details under its own privacy policy and industry (PCI-DSS) security standards.
  • Scheduling and maps — Google services (such as Google Calendar and Google Maps) help us check availability, schedule appointments, and validate service addresses.
  • Business operations — our website hosting, and internal customer-management and workflow-automation tools that store your booking so our team can serve you.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it (for example, to respond to a valid legal request or protect our rights), or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale of the company, in which case we will require the new owner to honor this policy.

6. Marketing, calls, and text messages

Email. If you subscribe or become a customer, we may send you promotional email. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

Calls and text messages (SMS). By giving us your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive calls and text messages from us about your quote, appointments, and — where you agree — promotions. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to any text to unsubscribe or HELP for help. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services and for legitimate business, accounting, tax, and legal purposes. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your information as described below.

8. How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and limiting access to staff who need it. Card payments are handled by Stripe under PCI-DSS standards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work hard to protect your data.

9. Your privacy choices and rights

You are in control of your information. Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
  • Delete your information, subject to our legal and record-keeping obligations.
  • Opt out of marketing email, calls, and text messages at any time.

To make a request, email us at nick@luxelegacycleaningco.com or call (773) 416-9438. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these choices, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. Illinois residents

Biometric information (BIPA). We do not collect, capture, store, or use biometric identifiers or biometric information — such as fingerprints, face or voice scans, or retina scans — from website visitors or customers, as those terms are defined by the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (740 ILCS 14).

Data breach notice. If a data breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act (815 ILCS 530) and other applicable law.

11. Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on our website. Your continued use of our services means you accept the updated policy.
